"Okada Ban Cannot Wait" makes an interesting reading. Lessons drawn from the Lagos experience teach us that no responsible government will look the other way and allow the so called Okada business to thrive.

After so much opposition, the LASG has succeeded in coming out with a ban on Okada, thus ridding the state and its people of the menace that the monster had caused over the years.

It is the same excuse everywhere....Okada is a means to allowing the unemployed to make some "small" living. The question then is....at what cost? I love the analogy of the armed robber. Not only that....in Lagos, the Okada has been used for a number of robbery operations.

I TOTALLY SUPPORT THE BAN ON OKADA BUSINESS. There are so many other self-employment ventures that the youth can engage in. - Steve Bello-Giwa
